Review and Giveaway!

Have I mentioned lately how fast this pregnancy is going?? It seems like just yesterday I had 32 weeks to go and now I'm 32 weeks into it! Before I know it, the lovebug will be running around the yard and we'll be thinking about things like wooden swing sets, then I'll blink and he'll be starting junior high and we'll be thinking about things like girls, and then (sniff, sniff) he'll be getting ready for college and we'll be thinking about things like careers!

Thankfully for now, we're still thinking about baby stuff. I'll enjoy this sweet time in his life as long as I possibly can. But my goodness, there sure is a lot of stuff to buy! Which is one reason I couldn't pass up the opportunity to do a review for CSN Stores. I think by now, we all know about this awesome website (and if you don't, you should!) that has pretty much anything you could want for your home, pets, baby... the list is almost endless.

I knew I'd do the review on a baby-related item since that's pretty much all I'm buying these days and after some deliberation I decided to get our crib mattress. Then, after some research and more deliberation, I settled on the Serta Nightstar Extra Firm Crib Mattress. I know nothing about what kind of mattress is best for a crib, besides the fact that it needs to be firm. I chose this one because I trust the brand, it had great reviews on different websites and it seemed like a good value for the price. Also, I cannot tell a lie, it has the cute little Serta sheep printed on it, which basically sealed the deal for me ;-)

So far, I couldn't be happier with my choice! Of course shipping was quick and easy, as it always is with CSN. It's the perfect size for the crib (no gaps around the edges) and the sheets we chose fit nicely. One feature I really like is that it has a vinyl cover which can be easily wiped down, as I'm sure will be necessary quite a few times. It also comes with a 25 year warranty, which is always nice. Although I can't comment on the durability of the mattress since we haven't actually used it yet, it does seem really promising. So far, so good, and I would feel comfortable recommending this product to other parents looking for a crib mattress.
