Y'all.

I can't believe what I just did. Although I'm not usually an impulse shopper (promise!) I randomly snatched up this House of Harlow Abalone Pendant Necklace from Gilt.

There are SO many other things I should be spending my money on (hello, baby on the way?) but I've been mildly obsessed with HoH jewelry for a while, I've just been waiting for the right piece to demand that I bring it home with me. Something about the irridescent colors and the starburst in this pendant just made it impossible for me to resist! I've had a really bad week at work and needed a pick-me-up and I partially justified the purchase by telling myself that I've been wearing a lot of tanks and cardigans since I've been pregnant and that this pendant will add a nice pop to my new "uniform."

Have I convinced you that my purchase wasn't too crazy yet? I think I'm still trying to convince myself.

Oh also, see the "Nicole's Pick" symbol on the picture? That means the necklace comes with a bonus piece, this black leather cuff.

Isn't it pretty much amazing? I am concerned that the cuff might be too big on me and if it is, I'll try to sell it ( at a price below retail value of course). Anyone interested in buying it if I do need to sell?

Someone please tell me how pretty the necklace is and how much wear I'll get out of it and how silly I am to be stressing myself over this impulse purchase! I swear, I think the pregnancy hormones might be finally starting to catch up with me. I haven't had an issue with craziness so far, but the last few days have been rough. Sometimes I feel like I'm losing my mind and I think a pretty new necklace might be just what I need to restore some of my peace and sanity. Right? Right??
