Dang Boy, You Lookin Good!

How would you like to be in the middle of a dreary work day and open an email that you think is yet another silly forward but instead find this? Pretty cool, huh?

One of JD's newspaper friends got these pictures of him during a summer ball game last night (if it was a season game, he'd be in a baseball uniform and the hotness would be almost too much to stand).

JD called me last night and I asked if he was on his way home. He said not yet but that he would be after he finished watching the game. I asked why he was calling me in the middle of a game and he said he got kicked out. JD is seriously one of the calmest, most laid back people you will ever meet in your life but once in a while something happens on the field he doesn't like and somebody better watch out!

I love this picture. I wonder if this is the exact moment the ump threw him out? I would love to be a fly on the field sometimes to hear what exactly my sweet calm hubby says to get booted :-)

I am so proud of the work my husband does as a teacher and coach. He truly cares about every kid he comes in contact with and does his best to teach them lessons that will go far beyond a classroom or field. In a crazy world where good people are harder and harder to find, he is a wonderful role model and I pray that our kids are blessed with Godly teachers and coaches as a reward for all the time, hard work and effort he invests in these kids' lives.

Wow, we have something very cool in common...my husband is going back to school because he wants to be a teacher! Hence why he joined the National Guard...one of the benefits is that they pay for school. Anyway, how awesome that your husband is one of those special teachers!

There's a little sum sum on my blog for you! -Brittany

Go Hubs! This is exactly why I do Yearbook. I imagine I'd be a coach who'd get kicked out a lot. My temper flares when it comes to my "KIDS!"
